After reading all the reviews for this product I thought it was the best for the price. Actual usage was dismal at best. Always having to pare the device to Ipod touch with every use is time consuming. Does not work well out doors. And now can not get it to pare at all, wast of money.

Sound quality is good. Little uncomfortable. Poor bluetooth reception, I have to keep my phone in my back pocket to keep from dropping reception when I turn my head. After 3 months the Volume up button stopped working. So much for them fixing the sweat issues from the original S9s.
Avoid Motorola products.

I didn’t buy this product, my T820 headset I bought in july developed a defect and my warranty covered it, and somehow I got this back in the mail. I’ll go over that later.
So mine didn’t come in a box, and it was only the headphones, so I can’t tell you what comes in the box. I’m assuming a power charger, and maybe a bag, cause my old pair did.
I’ll list the pros first.
PROS:
-Very comfortable earpieces. Has 2 sizes. One with a flap on it, and others without a flap. The ones with the flap cancel out sound, but they take a little while for them to fit your ears. Like a day or so, and you’ll be used to the ‘big’ size of them. The others are for ‘runners’, but I don’t see anyone running with these things on much.
-The “WOW” technology that I’ve read up on these is actually really good. I have a Nokia 3600 Slide that I use this on (my phone), and it’s great. I have a wired headset, but when you compare it to these things it just blows it away. These headphones make it hard to stand other headphones with their quality.
-Fits around the neck well. You can take them off and leave them around your neck so you don’t have to find a place to put them.
-You can somewhat lay down with them. Sometimes I want to just be able to lay down and listen to my music, and it’s hard to find headphones that can do that. You can’t really lay face up though, cause the way your neck bends. You can, but the sound quality goes down a bit cause it’s not all the way in your ears.
-Pretty good battery life. I’ve got about 7 hours of them.
Hooo boy, now for the cons…
-The biggest and worst part of these headphones is the quality of the bluetooth chip in it, or something. It has absolutely TERRIBLE quality. I can’t put my phone in my pocket and walk around with these things at all without it cutting in and out, and even sometimes disconnecting, leaving my phone to switch to loudspeaker, which is really annoying. And I don’t mean occasionally, I mean it’s more silence than sounds if it’s in your pocket and your walking. If your stationary (mostly), and the source of the signal is stationary and your in line of sight, it works pretty good. But anything in the way (including your body) will make this thing have sound go through it like a heart monitor. (I know it my phone source works fine, because my last pair, and my computer bluetooth both worked with my phone, but its terrible with these)
Theres somewhat of a learning curve to getting it to work however, once you learn how it works best you can get it to work around the way you want. Back pockets (for a phone) get good reception, and if your biking, put it in a backpack and it’ll be good. The pocket is a terrible place to put your phone if your listening on it.
-Somewhat of a flimsy design. I mean it’s pretty stable and all, but I accidentally ‘half’ stepped on it, and it kinda creaked. I can’t really say it’s a con but it’s been noticed.
-The little light on the bottom is kinda… Lame, I guess. My T820 had nice big lights on the side and superb battery life, but they were huge. The light on this one is annoying cause it’s at the back, so you have to take them all off to see if it’s on or not.
-Turning it off and on is a bit of a pain. If you turn it off, you have to hold the button in for a second, let go, and press AGAIN to turn it back on or it won’t respond. The first press never seems to work.
-There’s no pass through port to a 3.5mm jack. My last pair had them, and now I’m stuck without a decent pair of them. Considering the small size, I guess I can give that up though.
So the cons are annoying but the sound is great. I paid $40 for my last pair and got these back so I guess it’s… a deal? I liked the older pair better though. Louder, bigger, and a better signal.
On a side note, if something goes wrong with this, prepare to go through hell from Motorola Customer Support. If you can call it that, because it’s just absolutely terrible. The ‘Forum’ is pathetic because the posts get deleted in 7 days. Calling them calls someone in like India or whatever, and they provide absolutely no information. Online the site is incredibly hard to navigate, and then they apparently are stupid enough to send me back a different pair of headphones. So if something goes wrong with your product, you better live with the problem or live with the hell you’ll have with the support of it.
Overall, it’s a decent headphone set, but theres better out there for the price. The signal completely ruins the product, so I have to give it a 3 star. I’d give it a 2.5 but you can’t do that on Amazon.

I also own a HP bluetooth headset, compared to that, it has a noticeably shorter battery life. On the other hand, I couldn’t succeed in communicating through its microphone yet. Apart from those two, perfect sound, great controls, and definitely “the” workout companion. Last but not least, it is also great for practicing drums over your favorite rock’n'roll tunes!!

Crackles CONSTANTLY during phone use.
