Android 2.1 run on Meizu M9

Great News from Meizu, As a Chinese company known for making one of the best iPhone clones out there, Meizu will adopt Android for one of its future handsets.

According to Meizu’s CEO,The handset is Meizu M9 will be launched with a customized version of Android 2.1 on board. The features of M9 have not been announced, but it’s said that the phone will have 3 different types of virtual keyboards.

No news yet on when the Meizu M9 will be available, but here’s a render of what it might look like, as Meizu’s CEO said that an Android 2.1 firmware update for the already-launched Meizu M8 will be launched soon with the purpose of testing the OS for the upcoming M9.
